Why work with us

Our mission is to empower young people with the tools, opportunities and support to transition into independent living while feeling valued, respected and encouraged. That mission shapes how we treat our own team too, built around four values: Empowerment, Respect, Belonging and Growth.

Every new starter completes a structured induction: pre-start checks, two weeks of core mandatory training, then several weeks of supervised shadow shifts before working alone. If you don't already hold a relevant qualification, we support you to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent) within your first year. You'll get regular supervision, an annual appraisal with an agreed development plan, and a mentor to check in with during your first weeks.

Because we work with vulnerable young people, every role goes through enhanced DBS checks, including the children's barred list, full employment history checks, and at least two references, in line with the Children Act 1989, Ofsted requirements and the Supported Accommodation (England) Regulations 2023.

Support Worker

Provides safe, consistent, relationship-based day-to-day support to young people as they move towards independence, from budgeting and cooking to encouraging engagement in education, training or employment. You don't need a qualification to start; we'll support you to gain one. What matters most is patience, care and a genuine belief in young people's potential.

Senior Support Worker

Builds on the Support Worker role with shift leadership and mentoring, acting as safeguarding lead on shift and modelling best practice for newer team members. Usually suits someone with at least two years' experience supporting young people and a Level 3 qualification, or working towards one.

Registered Service Manager

Leads the service day-to-day: safe admissions, individual support planning, staffing and training, safeguarding as Designated Safeguarding Lead, and the relationships with social workers, IROs and other professionals that keep placements working. Usually suits someone with at least two years in a relevant leadership role and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, or working towards one.

Nominated Individual

Holds overall governance and accountability for the service: safeguarding culture, quality assurance, financial sustainability, and senior oversight and mentorship for the Registered Manager. Suits someone with senior leadership experience in regulated social care or children's services.
